Data visualisation, Linked Open Data, and the art of connecting data to tell better stories

On 8 September at KIK-IRPA, FedOSC is organizing a free event exploring how Linked Open Data can connect, enrich, and contextualise data to support research, data reuse and science communication, through the prism of data visualisation. Three data storytelling experts have been asked to work separately on the same datasets from a local ecosystem; what outputs did they produce? What challenges did they overcome? What value is LOD bringing to the conversation?

Expect talks, demos, posters, VR headsets, chit-chat, drinks and sandwiches, community exchange and inspiring examples, with a special focus on data visualisation as a storytelling tool.

And join us for a CLARIAH-VL+ presentation on SAMPO-UI.
